Game Devs Interactive was founded by Arya Sharma on a simple idea: students like games more than equations. Maybe our education system's got it wrong: the students that once seemed to hate STEM just needed a now approach?
Lead by kids, we teach coding through game development because games make programming feel creative, visual, and exciting instead of abstract. Our lessons are meant to reinforce school concepts such as vector understanding, coordinate planes, newton's laws, etc. We understand what students need, because, well, we're kids too!
Our lessons help students create playable projects while learning real STEM concepts like coordinate planes, movement, velocity, vectors, logic, and debugging. By bringing free game development lessons directly to afterschool programs, we give younger students early access to computer science in a way that feels hands-on, meaningful, and fun...actually making an impact on student lives.
I was once that kid who hated math, science, and anything coding-related, but games changed my life: I really starting falling in love with the concepts I used to spent hours despising...and that's why we'll continue to make impact on student's lives like we already have!

creating opportunities for others to learn, or working on my personal

I am a dedicated computer science and digital design learner. I've taken coding courses, joined extracurricular computer science programs, and completed Intro to Design and Digital Imaging, gaining experience in many digital design softwares. I helped create this website specifically for Game Devs Interactive to help share the organization’s mission and projects with more students and families.
I love working with kids, and I’m passionate about computer science. When I’m not in class, you might find me teaching at my high school’s female-led coding club, working on a CS project of my own, or studying at a local café. I became especially passionate about teaching and helping kids reach their potential after volunteering at a children’s center one summer. Through the 100+ hours I spent there supporting teachers and staff and working directly with kids, I discovered just how important it is to give children opportunities to develop their skills and potential from an early age.

Hello! I’m interested in computer science, coding, and photography. I enjoy reading novels, taking photos, and creating projects through coding. I especially enjoy learning how technology works and using code to turn ideas into something interactive. I’m excited to explore game development and share what I learn with others. I hope to helping younger students learn coding and making technology feel more fun and approachable. I hope to inspire others to be creative, curious, and confident when learning!
